Credit Card Charges
Charges made to your credit card will be listed on your statement as "Remarkable
Systems, Inc." - proudly bringing you e-commerce solutions!
Credit card safety
Remarkable Systems®, Inc. (RSI) uses the latest technology to protect your
credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You
can place your orders using Netscape's SSL encryption (the Internet standard for
secure transactions) or you can telephone, fax or email your card information to
us.
Exhibiting the effects of our security methods...
"In 1997, there were no reports of credit-card information stolen on the World
Wide Web during a transfer of information over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) line,
the kind of line used by Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer. There were
no slip-ups. None."

Billing for Monthly Subscription Services
ChildWatch® Web
FREE trials may be requested on our site. Upon making such a request, depending
on the trial type, certain information must be received and verified before your
account can be activated. Note -- regardless of the trial type, you will not be
billed during the trial period. Where applicable, payment information is
collected for 1) account verification, and 2) post-trial billing purposes.
Starting and including the day we provide you with account access information
via email, you have number of requested days to review our web-based software
and determine whether the solution is right for your business.
Following this period, should you wish to retain the service, for those trial
types which have already gathered your payment information, no action is
required; billing is automatic. Otherwise, you may submit your payment
information using the link provided upon attempting to access your trial account
beyond the period granted.
While receiving our software service, you will be billed at your requested rate
every 30 days or until cancellation. We do not provide refunds, but will provide
service through any paid period.
Accounts which have not been cancelled before the end of the trial period are
assumed that service continuance is desired and hence billing will begin
automatically at the rate chosen when the account was established by the
customer.
A "month" is defined as a 30-day period. Given that some months have more than
30 days, it is possible for your billing cycle to rotate around and be billed
twice in the same month (e.g. the 1st and 31st - 30 days apart). This is not an
error. There is not a set bill date or pro-rating which takes place. Instead,
billing takes place at the time of signup and reoccurs every 30 days, regardless
of the month in which that period falls next.
ChildWatch® Web is a month-to-month service and may be canceled at any time by
either party.

Contractual agreements take precedence over our online policy & terms.
Software / Service Purchases
RSI offers
free trials of each product or service prior to payment. This allows our
customers to make an informed purchasing decision. As a result, this
avoids any need to offer refunds for purchases or payments made; each sale is
final. We feel this policy is consistent with the major software retailers
nationwide and is fair to both parties involved.
For our desktop software (e.g. ChildWatch®), all packages may be downloaded from
our site and tried absolutely FREE. Any time during or after the trial period,
should you decide a package is right for your business, a purchase should be
made.
Changes to our Policy
Our Policy is intended to provide you with the safest and most secure shopping
experience possible. Since offerings and technologies change, we reserve the
right to change, modify, add or remove portions of our Privacy Policy at any
time without prior notice. If policy changes are substantial, we will notify our
customers via email. Please periodically review our Privacy Policy for changes.
If you have any questions, or would like further clarification, please contact
our Customer Service department here.
Insufficient Funds and Returned e-Checks
We assess a $25 returned check fee if your bank does not honor payment. We
reserve the right to charge your overdue balance plus any and all fees to your
credit card that we maintain on file. RSI will prosecute those who make
purchases with no intention of paying to the fullest extent of the law.
We reserve the right to submit the names of non-paying customers to credit
bureaus and check systems. We reserve the right to assess these charges to
recoup the amount our bank charges to research the disputed charge. If you have
questions about a charge that has been processed by our company: Remarkable
Systems, Inc., please call us first. When placing an online transaction with
RSI, you authorize the charge by completing the sale. If you dispute this fee
and refuse to pay it by further disputing the charges or closing your credit
card account, your purchasing privileges with us will be revoked and we may
forward the data to the proper authorities for collection and report it to all
check and credit report companies as a bad credit risk. We reserve the right to
amend, revise or otherwise update our Order Policy.

restocking fee will apply to cancelled orders for hardware. Customer is

any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.

your order and provide you with options to handle your order from that point.
